The
Science Of Climate
Andre Bernier, Meteorologist
With the recent independent findings showing that
the 2007 global temperature has dropped*1
0.65-0.75 degrees C
in one single year (essentially wiping out one hundred years of
modest rises in temperature of +0.06 degrees C per year on average)
and given that January
2008 saw the second biggest snow and ice pack
in the northern hemisphere*2
in recorded meteorological history,
common sense should lead any good scientist to examine why.
It is no secret that I share the same conclusions as all of my
meteorological colleagues here in Cleveland and around the
United States: Catastrophic anthropic (man-made) global warming
is bad theory and bad (junk) science. It is unfortunate that
politics
and radical environmentalism has hijaked solid scientific investigation
and reasoning. The already significant number of meteorologists
and climatologists around the world who disagree with the IPCC
conclusions is steadily growing.*3
Primary and secondary schools who require students to
watch Mr. Gore's film should also be required to view the
Canadian Broadcast Company's recent documentary from
2007 entitled, "Global Warming - Doomsday Called Off."
For your convenience, you can view the entire documentary
here on this web site in five short (6-8 minute) parts. The
documentary
was posted on YouTube in 2007. I have viewed the documentary in
its
entirety and recommend all students and teachers view this
excellent broadcast before opening discussions about our
complex and wonderful climate machine.
